Director/Producer Antoine Fuqua is getting it done. Between his success as a director on films like Training Day, which garnered Denzel Washington an Oscar, to producing several television projects, including the hit Mayor of Kingstown.

Now, he has penned a deal with MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount to continue his hot streak. In his new deal, Fuqua will be producing original scripted and unscripted shows under the 101 Studios banner.

Fuqua has a litany of projects on their way, including his latest film The Guilty for Netflix, Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt, Emancipation with Will Smith, the series Shaka: King of the Zulu Nation, just to name a few.

President and CEO of Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios, Chris McCarthy had this to say about the exciting new team-up,

They aren't the only ones fired up about the news. Antoine Fuqua himself had this to say about his future with the studios,

"Developing a continued partnership with Paramount and 101 Studios is a huge honor and I am looking forward to working together on a new slate of projects. They are great partners to work with on Mayor of Kingstown and share in the vision of what's to come for Hill District Media."
