The video of one of the Cleveland kidnapping victims, Michelle Knight at Ariel Castro's sentencing court hearing Thursday has gone viral of the woman giving an emotional testimony in front of her captor recounting her imprisonment and her will to move on with her life.

Knight, 32, faced Castro while fighting tears, saying "Days never got shorter, days turned into nights, nights turned into days. Years turned into eternity. I knew nobody cared about me. He told me that my family didn't care. ... Nobody should ever have to go through what I went through."

Castro, 53, pleaded guilty to 937 charges last week, which included aggravated murder, rape and kidnapping, to avoid the death penalty. He was sentenced to life imprisonment, including 1,000 years, with no chance for parole.

"You took 11 years of my life away and I have got it back," Knight said at his sentencing hearing in Cleveland. "I spent 11 years in hell, now your hell is just beginning. I will overcome all this that has happened but you will face hell for eternity. From this moment on, I will not let you define me or affect who I am. I will live on, you will die a little everyday."

Knight spoke about the friendship between her and the other women, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, who were held captive with her.

"Gina was my teammate, she never let me fall, I never let her fall. She nursed me back to health when I was dying from his abuse," Knight said.

During Castro's testimony in front of the judge, he stated that he is not a monster, although admitted to his wrongdoings and blamed the FBI for not questioning him about the kidnappings.

He said the women had sex with him voluntarily, though confessed to having an addiction.

"I was a victim of sex acts, when I was a child. This led me into viewing pornography for my whole life.

"These people are trying to paint me as a monster, I'm not a monster. I'm sick. I'm impulsive," Castro said. " When I picked up the first victim, I didn't even plan it that day."
