After being hidden for several weeks after the birth of baby North West, Kim Kardashian surprised her mother with a videogram on the Kris Jenner Talk Show Friday. 

In a pre-taped segment, co-hosted by Diddy, with featured guest Ciara, the 32-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star appeared in a short video to offer her congratuations and appreciation to her mother.

Kim wore white and looked happy and healthy in the clip which only showed her upper body.

"Hi Mom, I just wanted to say congratulations on your new show. I sorry I couldn't be there in person but I'm just loving life at home too much right now. I watch you every single day. You were born to do this. I just wanted to say I love you and have an amazing show," she said.

Before the appearance, sister Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to give fans a hint that something big was going to take place on the show.

"So excited for @thekrisshow today! @iamdiddy is co hosting and @ciara is on. There's also a surprise on today's show! Don't miss it!!! FOX baby! RT," she wrote minutes before the debut.

Enstars reported earlier that Kim was already expected to make her first public appearance on her mom's talk show.

A source said that Kardashian has already lost 20 out of the 50 pounds gained during her pregnancy.

"She wants to show up like Heidu Klum and have everyone marvel at how fast she lost the weight," a source said.

A few weeks ago, the reality star released her first statement to fans after becoming a mother, saying that motherhood has indeed changed her life.

"These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family. I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes," she wrote in a blog post via Celebuzz.
