Big news out of CinemaCon in terms of what Marvel has up their sleeve for fans in the coming year...the next 10 Years, to be exact.

Head honcho for all things Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin Feige, announced that he will be heading to a planning retreat with the rest of the MCU team following CinemaCon. The purpose of the excursion is to plot out the next decade of Marvel entertainment, which will hit both the big and small screens alike.

The presentation focused mainly on Disney/Marvel's two tentpole features due out this year - namely, the mind-bending Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the Taika Waititi-helmed Thor: Love and Thunder - but being that this other announcement is brand new information, this is what really has Marvel fans talking.

It will be interesting to imagine what Feige and his crew have in store, now that the concept of the multiverse has left the door open to pretty much do whatever they can dream of. And with no shortage of upcoming Marvel series getting ready to premiere on Disney+, it is an embarrassment of riches for audiences. Both Loki and What if...? are getting a second season, while Echo from Hawkeye is getting a spin-off, along with She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Iron Wars, and Ironheart are all in the works for the streaming service.

In terms of feature films on the horizon, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Blade, The Marvels, and the much-anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will all be in theaters soon enough.

With the MCU's Phase Four in full swing - and perhaps even the beginnings of Phase Five starting to percolate behind the scenes - the sky's the limit for what's to come.
