Lil Nas X took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a video announcing his first ever tour since he dropped his debut album Montero nearly a year ago. The tour, Long Live Montero, as it is being called, was met with a lot of love for the Old Town Road singer.

The post, which is now pinned to the top of his Twitter feed, is a montage of Lil Nas X's past performances and videos the singer posting,

"i'm having my very first tour. and all of u better come or i will cry on instagram live."

As an openly gay rapper, Lil Nas X loves to mess with the less than accepting straights who have enough free time on their hands to spew homophobic shade his way. The promo video begins with a tracking shot starting in the heavens and swooping down to a blink-and-you-miss-it venue entrance which appears to be a person on all fours - and we're betting you can guess where the entrance is.

The narration goes on to say,

"I am Montero and I welcome you to my event, the Long Live Montero Tour. My world. My Universe. Everyone's allowed, except gay people."

A truly brilliant PRE-TROLLING if there ever was one.

Always the showman, fans will no doubt be treated to a colorful barrage of the on stage spectacle Lil Nas X has been known for. From costumes to choreography, this should be something to behold.

The Long Live Montero Tour kicks off its American leg on September 6, 2022 in Detroit, with 14 dates stateside, before heading to Europe. There are 21 shows total, and you can get your tickets on the tours website longlivemontero.com.
