Not Exclusively Smiles: Kourtney Kardashian's Daughter Not Thrilled At Mom's Engagement to Travis Barker!
Kourtney Kardashian's daughter was not thrilled when she heard the news that her mom was engaged to Travis Barker.
The world celebrated when Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged and subsequently got married in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas after the Grammy Awards.
Yet, while everyone on the outside was showering the couple with love, those on the inside had a few more complex feelings; more specifically, Kourtney Kardashain's daughter, Penelope Disick, was not all smiles and rainbows when she heard about the engagement.
In the most recent episode of the new Hulu sereis The Kardashians, we watch as Kourtney FaceTimes Penelope and asks:
"Do you want to know what my surprise was?...We got engaged!"
Crying was then heard, as Kourtney asks her daughter, "Is that upsetting?" while Kim Kardashian chimed in, "Penelope! Why are you crying, baby?"
The situation of having a new parent is understandably confusing for a child, as the rest of the Kardashians assured Kourtney.
I think it's safe to say that Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian may not know who won any of the Grammy Awards...
Khloe Kardashian shared,
"Penelope is upset...They think they're losing their dad, I don't think they think they're losing their mom. They think their dad is gone and Travis is replacing him. When you're a kid, you think you have to pick one, so P's reaction is understandably okay."
We hope that the whole family will soon come to realize that no one is leaving the family – it is only getting bigger.
