Marvel has just announced the release of a new audio drama Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show.

The MCU is constantly finding new and unpredictable ways to expand. Coming just after the release of the well-received film Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness starring Benedict Cumberbatch, the MCU is taking on not only a new character, but a new platform.

The franchise has officially released a new series Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show.

Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show is a six-part audio drama. It follows the story of Squirrel Girl, a superhero unique for using primarily empathy, understanding, and kindness to break through to the bad guys.

In this audio series, we see Squirrel Girl after she has defeated Thanos and Doctor Doom. Now, Squirrel Girl is tasked with living a normal life.

The role will be voiced by the incredible Milana Vayntrub. The script for the audio drama was written by Ryan North, who says that taking on this project has been a fresh and exciting challenge. North spoke enthusiastically to Marvel.com about the project, sharing:

"For me, a lot of the fun of the project initially was getting to work in a new medium, one where everything that happened had to be communicated through sound.

Of course, once we started recording, my favorite part was hearing the actors bring these characters to life. Milana and Crystal are Doreen and Nancy, and the way Leo and Davied and Peter brought Koi Boi, Chipmunk Hunk, and Brain Drain to life was just exceptional.

The podcast continues right where the comics left off, so long-time fans will feel instantly at home, but it's also built for new people who maybe have never encountered the world of the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl before."

Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable Radio Show can be streamed wherever podcasts are listened to.
