If famous chef Art Smith were to cater a celebrity wedding, such as Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's, he said the menu would probably be a healthy one.

"I think it would not be uncommon to see something comfort, but I also think the exact opposite. You're going to see something vegan," he told EnStars on Tuesday the IAMS So Good event in New York City. "More people are eating diets with no animal protein."

Several celebrities have incorporated a vegan menu into their wedding ceremony, including Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's in August 2008 as well as Alicia Silverstone and Christopher Jarecki's in June 2005. And since Theroux is a vegetarian, Smith's assumption in regards to his wedding to the former Friends star isn't unlikely.

"But, then I also see people wanting things like fried chicken," he said.

Smith, who owns five restaurants and was Oprah Winfrey's chef for 10 years, noted the time he made fried chicken for her 50th birthday celebration.

However, the 53-year-old doesn't only cook chicken for his celebrity clientele. He often prepares the dish for his French bulldog, Cochon. As Cochon lounged by his side in New York's Union Square Park, Smith said chicken is his dog's beloved meal.

Despite his "long, busy, crazy life," the chef said he's always conscious of what little Cochon consumes.

"I'll do a little chicken plain, no seasoning. That's his favorite," he said of his four-legged friend, who he's had for six years. "He also loves popcorn."
