AnnaSophia Robb, who plays a young Carrie Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries, revealed to U.K.'s Company magazine how much she admires the character she portrays and working with Austin Butler.

"She's figuring out who she is, thinking 'Do I want the guy? Am I following my dreams? Am I doing what is right?'," she said in the September 2013 issue. "It's what all girls go through at some point in their life and I'm proud of the decisions that she's made so far, she's a cool role model to play."

The young star also spoke about Carrie Bradshaw's trademark: her curly hair.

"Carrie's curly hair is such a huge part of the character. Having the curly hair wig helped me get into the Carrie vibe each time I got on set. It was fun for me, because I love curly hair I think it's sexy," she said.

The 19-year-old also praised her co-star Butler, who plays Sebastian Kydd on the series. Coming from a family of money, Sebastian is also Carrie's main love interest on the show.

"He's probably the sweetest person I have ever met," she said. "Every time we film a scene together, we crack up laughing. He is just so thoughtful and he's such a wonderful human being! It's a real pleasure to work with him - he's very talented and we have a laugh every day."

As EnStars previously reported, the controversial character of Samantha Jones will appear in the second season. Actress Lindsey Gort has been cast for the ballsy role.

Season 2 of The Carrie Diaries will premiere on Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
