Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan separated in 2018, but they have yet to finalize their divorce settlement.

According to Radar Online, the former lovers asked a judge for additional time to try to reach a settlement in their never-ending struggle.

Last week, their separate legal teams were allegedly in court for a hearing.

The conflict over income from the "Magic Mike" franchise is one of the key reasons they are still battling with it.

According to court filings, Tatum and Dewan notified the judge that they needed another four months to try to ultimately close and reach a deal with one other.

The divorce court granted their motion and rescheduled the hearing until September.

Tatum and Dewan, who both appeared in "Step Up," have been feuding for over a year over "Magic Mike."

Dewan informed the court in May 2021 that she was having difficulty reconciling with her ex-husband.

The "Magic Mike" series, according to Radar, includes the popular films, the reality program that airs on HBOMax, and even the Las Vegas performance of the same name.

According to TMZ, Dewan assisted Tatum in finding a choreographer and even relocated overseas to care for their daughter Everly while the "Dear John" star worked on the live show.

According to one source, both celebs are still attempting to split their assets and determine spousal support.

Jenna Dewan filed for divorce in October 2018 after a decade of marriage. She asked for shared legal and physical custody of their kid at the time.

The judge approved approval on the parents becoming legally single the following year, but Dewan and Tatum have yet to finalize their divorce.

Why Did Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum's Marriage Fail?

People magazine stated after their divorce announcement that Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum had been apart for months after growing apart over the previous year.

Tatum apparently moved out months before the separation was revealed, with a source claiming that they attempted to make their marriage work but fell out of love.

There was no huge argument, just a slow drifting apart, according to reports.

"That almost made it tougher for them to separate since there weren't any major difficulties, and there's not one person to cast the finger at as the one who screwed up," the insider continued.
