Stevie J confirmed that he is more than "life partners" with Joseline Hernandez following the airing of her marriage proposal to him during season 2 of Love & Hiphop Atlanta.

The Grammy-winning music producer confirmed in an exclusive interview that he and Hernandez officially tied the knot at the justice of peace in the latest issue of Hip-hop Weekly.

Stevie J's friend and co-star Benzino announced the news on Twitter, with the tweet: "WE BROKE THE STORY FIRST!!!" The message provided a link to the interview with the magazine's cover featuring the couple.

In the issue, Stevie revealed that him and Hernandez went to a justice of the peace, but if there's an opportunity to have another ceremony, the couple will "do it on the show or something."

He touched lightly on the spinoff show rumors when he said they might have a ceremony on their show and have plans to start a family.

"When the show permits, we'll have it on or own show and have some kids on the show," he slipped.

When Stevie was asked how does Hernandez feel about being married, he said she has the "best f--in man in the whole world." He also said that Mimi Faust, with whom he has a small child and has been in an on-and-off relationship for 15 years, wasn't too fond about the news.

"There's some jealousy there but I don't believe there's enough to where there would be a problem," Stevie told Hip-hop Weekly. "Joseline is my wife now, and Mimi is the mother of my child. Not a whole lot can be done. But I can make sure that Mimi will always be good," he explained, adding "That's not going to change. But I'm married now - I'm married now!"

In a previous episode, Hernandez said she decided to propose to him because "it's now or never." The couple was in her hometown of Ponce, Puerto Rico, to shoot the music video for her first single, Mi Colta. Hernandez pulled out a wedding band and gave it to Stevie. He was so shocked she asked him for his hand in marriage: "I'm asking you to marry me," she said.

During the season finale that aired on July 29, Stevie told Hernandez after she proposed to him that he will keep the ring she gave him, but he needed more time to decide whether he's ready to walk down the isle with her.

"I'm going to say that we got time and I'm going put this on," Stevie tells Hernandez. "I'm not going say yes and I'm not going say no. We got time and I want to keep this though cause you're special to me."

"I'm feeling like it could happen but I've traveled down this road before and I don't want to hurt you, and I don't want you to hurt me," he added.

Media Takeout reported on June 13 that the couple secretly wed and their nuptials were taped for an upcoming episode of LHHA. A source said filming the ceremony was so "staged" that the show's producers stopped the minister from saying the vows so that the camera crew could film Hernandez from a better angle.

Hernandez shared pictures on her Instagram of the couple together and the photos showed them both wearing wedding bands. The former stripper's pictures of the couple taken at the airport before they arrived in her native country shows Stevie J without a wedding band and Hernandez with her engagement ring.
