After the SCOTUS ruling overturning Roe v. Wade on Friday, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said that he would be looking into other historic cases which give Americans the freedom to live as they see fit. Namely, Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell, which involve the right to same-sex marrage, contraception, and privacey in the bedroom. Thomas was quoted as saying:

"In future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court's substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is 'demonstrably erroneous,' ... we have a duty to 'correct the error' established in those precedents."

Given that Justice Thomas is so quick to deny basic human rights to the citizens of the United States, actor Samuel L. Jackson took to Twitter to ask Clarence Thomas a very simple question in the most Samuel L. Jackson way:

"How's Uncle Clarence feeling about Overturning Loving v Virginia??!!"

For those not in the know, Loving v. Virginia gave citizens the right to interacial marrage, upholding the Fourteenth Amendment, which prohibits governments from discriminating against individuals on the basis of race.

Clarence Thomas is married to a white woman, Virginia 'Ginni' Thomas, who is currently under investigation for her possible role in the January 6th attack on the Capitol, which puts Thomas in a sticky situation given this could show bias favoritism in his rulings.

With that, Samuel L. Jackson pointed out in one sentence just how offensive the actions of the SCOTUS were to the basic human rights of ALL Americans. Well, done, sir.
