Writer/Director Quentin Tarantino and his wife Daniella are celebrating the arrival of their second child, a baby girl, this week. 

In an exclusive reported by People, the announcement made by the happy couple over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, which read,

"Daniella and Quentin Tarantino are happy to announce that Daniella gave birth to their baby girl on July 2, 2022, a little sister to Leo, their first child."

They first made the announcement of their second child back in February.

How did Quentin Tarantino meet his wife?

Quentin, age 59, met Daniella, age 38, when he was on tour promoting his World War II revisionist history flick Inglorious Basterds in 2009. They dated for thirteen years before Tarantino popped the question in 2017. He married the musician a year later. 

It was two years into their marriage when the The Hateful Eight creator and his wife had their first child, Leo, who, despite what people might think, was not named after Leonardo DiCaprio, star of two of his more recent films, Once Upon a Time... in Holloywood and Django Unchained.

He told Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in June of 2021" 

"He's named after my wife's grandfather, but also because, just in our hearts, he was our little lion."

The name of their new little bundle of joy has yet to be revealed to the public at this time.  

A big congratulations goes out to Quentin and Daniella, as well as little Leo, as the next member to their family.
