Brad Pitt is said to have engaged a private investigator as things begin to unravel.

As previously reported, his ex-wife Angelina Jolie sold her vineyard interest to a Russian tycoon, and the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actress now wants to find him.

According to documents acquired by Radar Online, the 58-year-old veteran actor requested that a judge serve legal paperwork on Russian tycoon Yuri Shefler, who lives in the United Kingdom.

Pitt requested his staff to uncover Shefler's address after claiming that his "Tomb Raider" actress ex went behind his back and sold her part in Chateau Miraval to a business named Tenute del Mondo, which is controlled by Shefler.

According to legal records, the actor has already engaged a team of detectives to track down Shefler, who is also said to have links to notorious leader Vladimir Putin.

In the motion, Brad Pitt expresses his desire to serve the oligarch, which includes cooperating with detectives to establish his home location and "international legal firms to assist service through the Hague Convention."

This follows rumors that the "Ad Astra" actor believes Angelina Jolie is trying to get him.

Pitt accuses his ex-wife of attempting to cause him harm by selling her part in their French vineyard.

"They promised they would never sell their respective stakes in Miraval without the approval of the other," according to the complaint.

"Jolie, meantime, contributed nothing to Miraval's success," Pitt's lawyer added.

"Instead, she permitted Pitt to pour money and sweat equity into the firm based on the consent right she gave him and the right of first refusal her corporate entity owed him."

According to the report, in October 2021, the "Maleficent" star "pretended to sell her shares" to a hostile "third-party competitor keen on gaining control of Miraval."

She allegedly sought and "consummated the putative sale in secret, willfully keeping Pitt in the dark and infringing Pitt's contractual rights."

Jolie has yet to comment, but a source claims that Pitt is attempting to create a false narrative about the incident.

Another legal difficulty that the former power couple is dealing with is the custody of their minor children.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorced in September 2016.
