Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Welcome Their Second Daughter to the World!
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas now have two children.
It is official! Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has officially given birth to her second child. Their first daughter, Willa was born back in 2020. Now, just two years later, the happily married couple has added another little girl to the family. The two are over the moon with this exciting announcement. A source exclusively told People that:
"Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl."
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have been a couple very much, very publicly in love. Much like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, the two first eloped in Las Vegas back in 2019. Much like the Kardashian-Barker match, they simply could not wait any longer. After this first surprise wedding, the two then had a later and larger ceremony in France. Since that time, the two have been growing their family.
Earlier in May, Turner spoke with Elle about her excitement surrounding her expected child. The actor shared:
"It's what life is about for me - raising the next generation...The greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength. We're so excited to be expanding the family. It's the best blessing ever."
While the parents have shared their mounting excitement for this day, Willa may not quite understand what is going on. In the same interview with Elle, turner was asked if Willa understood that there was going to be a new addition to the family.
"I don't think so...I'll point to my stomach and say, 'What's in there?' And she'll go, 'Baby'. But then she points to her own stomach and says, 'Baby', and then she'll point to her dad's tummy and say, 'Baby'. So, I think she just thinks that a belly is a baby and that's the name for it. But she is a lot clingier than normal, so I think she has an idea. She wants Mummy all of the time - she's claiming her territory."
