Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp had a text exchange in which the embattled musician called Linsday Usich "Amber Heard 2.0."

The pre-trial documents for the defamation trial between Depp and Heard were recently unsealed, showing several revelations involving the two celebrities. One part revealed that Manson and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor talked about Usich in 2016.

The documents, obtained by Newsweek and the New York Post, show that Manson texted Depp that he got "an Amber 2.0." since Usich "just pulled an amber" on him. The actor responded by telling him to stay calm and not to give his then-girlfriend anything she wanted.

Manson referenced a 2016 incident when police received a call and asked them to come to the estranged couple's Los Angeles home.

"I got a serious police amber type scenarios with L's family. I'm f***ing stressing. I don't know if you are back but I need asylum somewhere because I think the cops might be headed my way," Manson went on.

Depp and Manson have not responded to the newly publicized text messages.

Why The Text Messages Were Not Presented During Defamation Trial

The revelation came out after Depp's legal team argued with Heard's lawyers as they wanted the text messages with Manson to be shown in court.

However, Depp's team alleged that Heard only aimed to "smear Mr. Depp under a guilty by association theory."

"Ms. Heard's attempt to inset Marilyn Manson into this case lacks foundation and is wholly speculative and constitutes improper character evidence," Depp's team wrote in the pre-trial documents.

For what it's worth, Manson has been subject to legal issues and criticisms after receiving accusations of sexual assault and abuse from multiple women.

But Depp still mentioned Manson after Heard's lawyer Ben Rottenborn asked him about his drug use. The actor listened intently to what he said and asked him a question about Manson.

"One of your good friends that you've taken drugs with before is Marilyn Manson, right?" Rottenborn asked. Manson has since been accused of having abusive behavior.

Depp responded and said that they drank and had cocaine together a couple of times, explaining that he had to give Manson a pill so he would stop talking so much.

The actor won the defamation trial, in the end, winning over $10 million in damages which Heard is yet to settle.
