For OG fans of chick flicks, many people remember the iconic "bend and snap" from the 2001 film "Legally Blonde." Fast forward to today, Jennifer Coolidge made a shocking confession about the trick and it appears that it doesn't work at all.

Speaking to Deadline, the 60-year-old star said the gimmick is one of the things she would "totally disagree with" in moviemaking.

"Bend and snap" is an iconic catchphrase from the movie derived from the action in which a person should literally bend to get something from the floor and snap in order to get the attention of the person they're attracted to.

Coolidge added that the trick never worked for her as it did for her character, Paulette Bonafonté.

"I think that the bend and snap is misleading. But I'd have to say when I did do the bend and snap, I was wearing my underwear and I feel like in real life you have to leave it off," she said. (via Daily Mail UK)
