Maya Hawke has been one of the most beloved stars of "Stranger Things" because of her wit and sense of humor, but she has a personal take on the show, especially in its fourth season.

The 24-year-old actress recently underwent a lie detector test along with her "Do Revenge" co-star Camila Mendes on Vanity Fair's YouTube channel where she opened up about her true feelings about the shows' characters.

The star, who plays the role of Robin Buckley, was asked if Eddie Munson (played by Joseph Quinn) deserved to die at the finale of the show's latest season.

Hawke immediately answered the question without any hesitation, saying his character shouldn't have died, but she believes that the "show has too many characters." (via Digital Spy)

When asked if other characters should have died instead of Eddie Munson, she responded with "yes."

Maya Hawke Wants Robin Buckley to Die on 'Stranger Things?'

In an interview with Rolling Stone, it appears that Hawke is ready to let go of her character from the show anytime soon as she admitted that she wanted Robin Buckley to die on the final season.

The actress addressed the possibility of other main characters dying in the highly-anticipated finale, saying people "are probably" going to die as apparent in the final episodes of season 4.

"I would love to die and get my hero's moment I'd love to die with honour, as any actor would. But I love the way that the Duffer Brothers love their actors," she said.

Hawke also gushed about the show's creators, saying the reason why they write the characters' stories beautifully, not just for her but her other co-stars as well, is because they "don't want to kill them" and they fall in love with the roles they created.

Elsewhere in the interview, the interviewer shared an idea about a spin-off of her character and Joe Keery's "Steve Harrington."

Joking about the idea, the actress said they would go to New York and party while figuring things out. She later noted that if she gets to do it with Keery, she would accept the role as the actor/musician is "so funny and wonderful and smart."

As of this writing, the release date for "Stranger Things" season 5 has not been announced yet, but all seasons are available for streaming on Netflix.
