"Jurassic World" star Bryce Dallas Howard opens up on being asked to lose weight for the film franchise, and what director Colin Trevorrow had to say about it.

Bryce Dallas Howard made her debut as Claire Dearing in the adventure film franchise "Jurassic World" in 2015. She, later on. reprised her role in its sequels "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" in 2018 and "Jurassic World Dominion" this 2022. She rose to prominence for her first blockbuster role as Gwen Stacy in "Spider-Man 3".

Following the release of the film franchise's final installment, "Jurassic World Dominion", the 41-year-old actress expressed her experience on set in an interview with Metro. The "Terminator Salvation" star opened up about a request that did not sit right with her.

"What being in this third film allowed, how do I say this, how do I say this, how do I say this...[I've] been asked to not use my natural body in cinema." Bryce revealed this to Metro.

The 41-year-old star elaborated on the weight loss request saying that during the third movie, many women were cast in the film, thus implying that Bryce had to stand out among the rest by losing weight.

Director Said THIS Amidst Weight Loss Demands

Although it was not mentioned who, specifically, asked for the "Jurassic World" actress to lose weight, Bryce mentioned that director Colin Trevorrow had "strongly" stood up for her in disagreement with the demands.

"[Colin] was like, 'There are lots of different kinds of women on this planet and there are lots of different kinds of women in our film,'" the "Jurassic World" actress explained. "I got to do so many stunts that wouldn't have been possible if I had been dieting."

Bryce shared her gratitude for the decision to call off the weight loss demands, as she was able to perform her action stunts at maximum strength on set.

Bruised on the 'Jurassic World' Set?

During her time on "Jurassic World", Bryce has been known for doing her own stunts on set. In a 2020 tweet, the actress revealed photos of her "crazy sick" bruises, when co-star Chris Pratt prompted her to show them off on Twitter.

Despite the extreme efforts and potential harm for her to film "Jurassic World", the actress expressed her thrill and love for her role as Claire Dearing.
