Rapper Kanye West shared a public apology to ex-wife Kim Kardashian for any stress he may have caused amidst their co-parenting situation.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's relationship dates back to 2012 when they started dating publicly. Following their recently finalized divorce in May 2022, the formerly married reality star and rapper have taken to co-parent their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

In a recent interview on Good Morning America, the 45-year-old rapper, who now goes by Ye, talked about his fatherhood journey and expressed that he had a newfound respect for the mother of his children.

"This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger." Ye expressed about his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. "I need this person to be less stressed and of the best, sound mind, and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children at the end of the day."

The 'Stress' in Question?

Kanye's inflicted stress on his ex-wife that he mentioned may be in reference to the troubling headlines and feuds that he has been involved in. Needless to say, the "Praise God" rapper has made numerous enemies over the years. Ye recently cut ties with brands like Gap amidst an ongoing feud involving his fashion brand, Yeezy.

Additionally, the rapper has repeatedly dissed some of his enemies like Kid Cudi and Pete Davidson on his Instagram.

Recently, Ye opened up about his co-parenting situation with Kim and revealed that the reality star raises their children "80 percent" of the time. In a recent episode of the Alo Mind Full podcast, West elaborated on his views on parenting control, and how he tries to give advice when he can on raising their children.

"Even to this day, I'll still give Kim advice on things that can help, because that's gonna go to the kids," Kanye explained on the Alo Mind Full podcast. "She's still got to, basically, 80 percent of the time, raise those children."

The 45-year-old "Yeezy" founder also recently waded in on their children's future by suggesting that they enroll in his newly-opened private Christian school, Donda Academy. Shortly after, the rapper revealed that he had a "good meeting" with Kim about their children's future, although it was not explicitly revealed what changes will be made to their education.
