Rapper Kanye West slams back at Adidas following their partnership being placed under review for his controversial behavior.

Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, recently drew controversy on the controversial statements in his latest fashion line, which featured "White Lives Matter" in bold text on the back of a shirt. The rapper, alongside other models, went on to pose with friend Candace Owens in the matching controversial shirts. The phrase "White Lives Matter" is widely adopted by white supremacist groups contrary to the "Black Lives Matter" movement.

The "Praise God" rapper expressed that his new line was the beginning of a "new frontier". Ye recently revealed in an Instagram post that his decision to raise controversy was motivated by his anger from not being invited to his children's birthday party.

Adidas' Statements on 'Yeezy' Partnership

However, following Ye's Paris Fashion Week show for Yeezy Season 9, Adidas released a statement announcing that their partnership with the "Yeezy" founder will be under review.

"The Adidas Yeezy partnership is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry's history. We are proud of our team that has worked tirelessly throughout our collaboration with Ye and the iconic products that were born from it. We also recognize that all successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values." A representative for Adidas stated.

Adidas concluded its statement by implying that they had tried repeated efforts to resolve their issues with the rapper, but have been forced to review their partnership.

"After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review. We will continue to co-manage the current product during this period." Adidas added.

Kanye Slams Back at Adidas

In a recent Instagram post, Ye shared a screen capture of a text message sharing Adidas' latest development with the Yeezy brand. In Kanye's caption, he slams back, notably in capital letters, that the shoe brand had allegedly stolen his designs.

"F--------K ADIDAS I AM ADIDAS ADIDAS RAPED AND STOLE MY DESIGNS" Ye wrote in his Instagram caption.
