Matthew Perry and Valerie Bertinelli's Secret Moment

The "Friends" star revealed that there came a moment when he was able to confess his feelings for his co-star when they were drinking over at her house. As her husband Eddie Van Halen was passed out from drinking, the two took the opportunity to lock lips with each other.

"As the night progressed, it was clear that Eddie had enjoyed the fruits of the vine a little too hard, one more time, and eventually he just passed out, not ten feet away from us, but still," Perry recalled the moment in his memoir. "This was my chance! If you think I didn't actually have a chance in hell you'd be wrong, dear reader - Valerie and I had a long, elaborate make-out session. It was happening - maybe she felt the same way I did.

According to Perry's recollection of the moment, the pair made it known to each other that they had felt the same way. However, Bertinelli treated him like nothing happened between them during the next day at work. Eventually, the television sitcom "Sydney" was canceled, to Matthew Perry's relief as he did not have to deal with his unrequited feelings for the actress.

Matthew Perry's upcoming memoir, "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing" will be published on November 1st.
