Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are open to spending the holidays with the royal family, but his biographer believes they may have an ulterior motive.

Royal journalist, commentator and author Angela Levin joined Patrick Christys in a recent interview on GB News, where they talked about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seemingly hinting that they are willing to fly to the U.K. for Christmas but haven't received an invite yet. Christys mentioned that "they're open to it," which Levin confirmed.

"Oh, yeah, they're open to it. Yeah, that's right," Levin said. "But I mean, this was not something that you would do because he hasn't spoken to his father for months. [So] keep it private, but they can't keep things private. They actually have to spill it all out; they make money that way."

She added, "And I feel rather cynically that they want to go and see the royal family to actually get information that they can sell on."

Christys also spoke about the same issue in an episode with Charlotte Griffith, editor-at-large at The Mail on Sunday. The GB News presenter mentioned a report from The Times claiming that Prince Harry and Markle would love to be with the royal family on Christmas, but they haven't received an invite from King Charles yet.

Griffith shared the same sentiment as Levin. She speculated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would only do it for "material."

"I get the impression they must need more material for their next documentary," Griffith claimed. "But, you know, I suppose they are saying the rift is slowly healing. We would show up."

"He was a little bitter when I met him, but he's now full of it. I think Meghan is a lot to blame, and she's poured into him all the things that are terribly wrong and that she's made him really dislike his own family," Levin explained.

Levin said that Markle was demanding, and she allegedly encouraged Prince Harry to be negative just as much as she was toward her family. She added, however, that "it takes two to behave like that," acknowledging Prince Harry's part in how much he changed.
