Meghan Markle Dethrones Amber Heard As Most Disliked Celebrity, Prince Harry Ranks Up

Meghan Markle is now in the top spot of an ongoing survey about this year's most disliked celebrities.

Ranker's poll is still open for those who want to participate in the survey about the most disliked celebrities of 2023. Over 16,000 have already participated, and a few days back, the "Aquaman" star, Amber Heard, dominated the list, with the Duchess of Sussex trailing behind. Both had around 11,000 votes at the time.

However, the latest results showed Markle at the top with 11,771 votes while Heard was down to the second position with 10,906 votes. As of writing, over 18,000 Ranker voters have participated, and they can rank up or down a celebrity on the list, so their votes may increase or decrease at any time.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry, who was in the sixth spot earlier this week, has ranked up and is now in the third spot. Still in the top five places are Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.

Bill Cosby ranked down after Prince Harry replaced him in the top 5 position. Cosby is now in the sixth spot. Hilaria Thomas, James Charles, Chris Brown and James Corden completed the top 10.

The changes in the rankings aren't surprising since the survey is still open. When Heard was still on top, several commented that Markle should have been there instead of her.

"I am shocked by this article. I really thought Meghan would get 1st place," one commented. Another added, "I believe it should be 1 Meghan, 2 Harry, 3 Amber."

As for the latest results, several netizens approved of it, noting that Heard has been keeping a low profile, unlike the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

"Think that could be right as the debacle with Amber Heard was really the year before, and we see so much nasty behavior from the Meg than we hear from her now," one commented. Another added, "Perfect result. I'm over the moon. [S]he has first place in something."

One netizen encouraged others to participate in the poll and keep Markle in the No. 1 spot.

"She's still number 1. Everyone needs to vote!!!!! Keep her at the top, where she always thinks she belongs," the netizen wrote with laughing emojis.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter released its annual compilation of the biggest winners and losers in Hollywood. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it to the list of losers, with the outlet mentioning their "whiny Netflix documentary" and Prince Harry's "whiny biography" as reasons.
