Kanye West is parting ways with the Malibu, California, mansion he gutted.

The rapper initially acquired the beachfront property two years ago for a staggering $57 million. However, it's now listed on the market for a slightly reduced price of $53 million, People reported.

Designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the Malibu mansion -- which spans 4,000 square feet of interior space and boasts approximately 1,500 square feet of outdoor living areas -- comes with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from every room.

Photos shared by the Oppenheim Group, who holds the listing, with People show the property's concrete and glass exterior and extremely minimalist exterior when West bought it in 2021 in an off-market deal.

However, after purchasing the property, which is currently at the center of a lawsuit, West removed all of the home's windows and electricity during his remodeling.

More recent photos obtained by TMZ show the mansion's bare state after all the windows and interiors were removed.

"Selling Sunset" star and Oppenheim Group founder Jason Oppenheim explained to People that the mansion's asking price considers the cost of reinstalling new finishes.

In a statement to TMZ, the broker claimed the house offers a "rare opportunity" for a buyer to restore the property to their unique standards while retaining Ando's architectural brilliance.

"This architect is known for his concrete work, which is what remains," Oppenheim told People. "So it's really going to be up to the new buyer to imagine the interiors that he or she wants. It was a very minimalist interior previously and will likely continue to be that in order to allow the architecture to speak louder than the finishes."

The mansion was built using approximately 1,200 tons of concrete, 200 tons of steel reinforcement and 12 large pylons that are set 60 feet into the sand.

Despite the stripped interiors, the property is hailed as a masterful work of art, with natural light creatively manipulated to provide homeowners with a "warm feeling throughout the building," its official description said.

Oppenheim said it is a privilege to sell a home designed by Ando, who is also responsible for designing Beyoncé and Jay-Z's $200 million Malibu property.

Meanwhile, West faces a legal battle with Tony Saxon, the project manager who oversaw the renovation of the rapper's Malibu mansion.

In his lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Saxon alleged mistreatment, long working hours and a dismissal that stemmed from concerns about safety during the remodel.

According to Saxon, he and West had a falling out over the Yeezy founder's demands to remove all windows and electricity and move large generators inside the house.

Saxon alleged that he was fired after he "expressed concerns about the extreme danger of such actions."

Saxon is suing West for unpaid wages, plus damages.
