No doubt about it, Mark Wahlberg has a sense of humor and is a good sport. When two Matt Damon fans ran into Mark Wahlberg recently -- and mistook the former for the latter -- Wahlberg was kind enough to take a picture and pretended to be Damon.

The fan and her friends posed with Wahlberg and then shared photos of their encounter, boasting "We saw Matt Damon!"

After uploading a picture of the encounter, a friend of the Damon fan revealed the flub, uploading a photo of Matt Damon.

"Lmao I screamed 'MATT DAMON!!' He didn't correct us at all lmao," responded the Damon fan.

"Sorry for the mistake," Angelique Dormevil wrote on Wahlberg's post. "My mom and I saw him and I yelled out Matt Damon. I knew all his movies but I confused the two awesome actors."

The entire exchange was ultimately uploaded online, eventually reaching Wahlberg, who posted it on his Facebook page along with the caption "close enough."

Wahlberg and Damon co-starred in 2006's The Departed, a Martin Scorsese crime thriller which won four Oscars.

There'll be more competition this weekend at the box office: Damon's new movie, Elysium, hits theaters today and Wahlberg's 2 Guns was number one last weekend.
