Putting breakup rumors to rest, Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet Thursday was with her fiance Liam Hemsworth to support him at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Paranoia.

The couple, who got engaged over a year ago, posed for cameras as Cyrus flashed her engagement ring and put an arm around her beau. The 20-year-old singer also nuzzled her head into the hunky Hunger Games star's shoulder at one point.

Cyrus wore a patch work shift dress that was red, black and white. She matched the ensemble with white platform heels and a matching bag. She sported a smokey eye look with pale, pink lips. Hemsworth, 23, wore a black suit and shirt by BOSS, along with his signature scruff.

When asked what he hopes Paranoia may do for his acting cred, Hemsworth told reporters that he picks every film "for different reasons."

"And every film I grow as an actor and, I think, as a person, especially when you work with these kinds of actors," he said. "It was nice to see how much they still cared about film. You know they love makings movies and that's what I love to do."

Paranoia also stars Amber Heard, Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford, Josh Holloway, Richard Dreyfuss, Embeth Davidtz and Julian McMahon. Hemsworth plays the lead as a tech-savvy student that gets willingly mixed up in the business world of espionage, though he later tries to pull away from it all and finds it difficult to do so. He plays Adam Cassidy, a Brooklyn native hired by a tycoon played by Oldman to work for a rival corporation (Ford's) and steal trade secrets that he then reports back to the former. As he gets deeper into the scheme of his deception, he transforms from "a bridge-and-tunnel" guy to a lavish-living, suited socialite.

The film is an adaptation of Joseph Finder's 2004 novel of the same name. Paranoia opens in theaters Aug. 16.
