Justin Bieber kissed Ariana Grande on the cheek Thursday night, evident in a Twitter photo the Victorious actress posted with a message clarifying that they are just friends.

"You're crazy and nonna says thank you, she loves you," the 20-year-old Grande captioned the photo, which she tweeted to the Beauty and a Beat singer while giving a shout-out to her grandmother. Grande's grandparents also posed for photos with Bieber earlier in the day at a fan event.

The photo of Bieber kissing Grande was retweeted 27,300 times within three hours, E! Online reported. Realizing the pandemonium she started and rumors of her dating Bieber that may follow, Grande posted a message that hinted at the responses she got to the picture.
"Everyone, girls are allowed to be friends with guys. I'm a lady. Chill out," she wrote.

"Nonna met her love!!! Nonna, Grandpa and @justinbieber :)" she wrote.

Grande is dating Jai Brooks, an Australian star famous for being a member of the YouTube comedy group The Janoskians. Brooks on Tuesday posted a message on Instagram celebrating their 10-month anniversary.

"This girl means so much to me. Not many long distance relationships [work out], but ours is different. We are not only [each other's] boyfriend/girlfriend, we are also [each other's] best friends," he wrote. "To still be so in love with eachother even though at times we could be a world apart, really means something. I am the luckiest guy on this earth and really have found one of a kind. I want you For a long time and I'm so blessed to be apart of your life. Thank you For the life long memories, I love you and happy 10 months."
