Ryan Reynolds, known for his funny tweets and social media posts, had a unique way of announcing that filming for his new "Deadpool" movie has wrapped up.

On Wednesday, the 47-year-old Canadian-American actor and film producer celebrated the last day of filming for "Deadpool 3" by posting a photo of his crotch on his social media accounts on Instagram, X and Facebook.

"The suit hides blood. Also, sweat... But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it's mostly tears," he captioned a waist-down photo of him as Wade Wilson's alter ego.

"A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled the wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman... all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect," he continued, thanking director Shawn Levy, his co-actors and the crew.

He added, "I got to make a movie with my closest pals, and that doesn't happen very often. See ya, July 26th."

Reynolds' post brought excitement to fans who have been anticipating the release of "Deadpool 3" for quite a while.

"This movie will be the 'full package,'" one user commented on his Facebook post.

"Great below-the-belt DP look as the final pic. I'll take it. I can't imagine how moving all of these are, and I cannot wait to see you, and those pants. And everything else," another quipped.

Meanwhile, one X user tweeted, "Well done, I can't wait until I watch my favorite hero ever on the big screen for a third time."

"Get ready for the PEAK, ladies and gentlemen," someone else wrote on the same platform.

The latest "Deadpool" movie was originally scheduled for a May 3 release this year. However, it got delayed, along with other films, because of the SAG-AFTRA strike last year, per Variety.

Its new release date, July 26, will reportedly mark "Deadpool's" official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after Disney acquired Fox.

"Deadpool 3" ranked fourth on Variety's list of most anticipated movies and performances of 2024.

Fans are anticipating the reunion of Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, and their delivery of one-liners and witty banters in the film.

"Wicked: Part One," "Freaky Tales," "Joker: Folie à Deux" and "Queer" were also on the list, occupying the fifth, third, second and top spots, respectively.
