Actress Kirsten Storms recently revealed upcoming baby drama surrounding her character Maxie Jones on General Hospital while Jason Thompson talked about possibly becoming a father on the show.

Storms said there is "lots of baby drama going on right now" in a recent interview with TV Line. 

"The next few months are going to be pretty crazy for me," she added. "Maxie gives birth, which is going to be huge...There's drama as soon as her water breaks, [when] things go awry in the midst of labor."

On the show Maxie suffered a miscarriage, which was Lulu and her husband Dante's baby. The baby Maxie is carrying now is hers and Spinelli's. The secret is that Spinelli doesn't know Maxie is having his child, and Lulu and Dante weren't aware that their surrogate miscarried.

Storms mentioned will be revealed soon on the show, saying, "The downward spiral of the truth [about the baby's identity is] coming out."

Doctor Britt Westbourne is the only one at the moment that knows the truth about baby. Westbourne promised Maxie to keep the identity a secret if Maxie helped sabotage Sabrina, who Britt is blaming for her break up with Patrick.

"I think in my storyline, I don't think there is one resolution that everybody is going to be happy with. The fans are pretty divided on what they want the outcome to be," Storms told On-Air On-Soaps. "I think no matter what...things are not going to go well for Maxie...Obviously, things are going to have to start coming out."

Britt is also carrying a baby, whose father is supposedly Patrick (Thompson).

"Sabrina still doesn't believe the baby is Patrick's, but he's just trying to get her to back off a little bit," Thompson revealed. "I'm just as interested as everybody else to find out how this is all going to happen, because I honestly don't know."

Ellie Trout, the lab technician, is forced to lie about the test results of Britt's baby. No details of what the test results are but fans are left wondering what will happen when Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) has her baby.

"There are a lot of questions Patrick has right now about the situation he is in," Thompson said. "I am probably sure most people in my situation would probably be happy that the baby is not his. I personally hope it's mine."
