Meghan Markle didn't reach out to her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, despite various reports claiming she did, according to a royal commentator.

Several outlets claimed that the Duchess of Sussex extended an olive branch to the Princess of Wales following the latter's abdominal surgery. However, Kinsey Schofield, entertainment correspondent and host of the royal podcast "To Di For Daily," denied the reports and claimed it's unlikely for the two royals to be friends again.

"This allegation is not true," Schofield told Fox News Digital. "Meghan Markle has not been in contact with the Princess of Wales. As the princess is currently in recovery, it would be a highly inappropriate time for Meghan to do any outreach."

"Catherine is currently dipping her toes back into her routine, navigating light communication, i.e. emails, approving scheduling and household duties. Having to navigate the hurricane that is Meghan Markle is not on her agenda."

Schofield doubled down on her claim about the two duchesses. According to her, they could never be friends, but Prince Harry would always have a space in his sister-in-law's heart.

"Meghan Markle and the Princess of Wales will never be friends," Schofield said. "Prince Harry solidified that with the publication of his memoir, 'Spare,' although Meghan Markle originally crossed the line with the ... complaints disguised as being the bigger person via the Oprah Winfrey interview. Despite the betrayal, Harry will always have a place in Catherine's heart because she ... knew a very different Harry."

Mirror previously published a report claiming that the former "Suits" star reached out to King Charles and the future queen after her husband, Prince Harry, flew to the United Kingdom to visit the British monarch, who was diagnosed with some form of cancer. An unnamed insider told the outlet about Markle and Middleton's relationship that "moves are being made to reconcile."

However, another source claimed the Duchess of Cambridge "still has some hurt feelings." Just like Schofield, the tipster alleged that Middleton was more likely to reconcile with Prince Harry than Markle.

"Kate is open to reconciling, though with Harry more so than Meghan," the source said. "She still has some hurt feelings over what Meghan did to her and Charlotte. There is work to do, but she's willing to move forward."

Meanwhile, netizens have been wondering where Middleton is. The last news they heard about Prince William's wife was that she was recovering after her abdominal surgery and wouldn't be back to resume her royal duties until after Easter.

However, King Charles was not out of the spotlight for long despite his cancer diagnosis. For instance, His Majesty was still seen in public earlier this month when he attended a church service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, with his wife, Queen Camilla. So, many couldn't help but ask how the Princess of Wales was doing amid her recovery from the surgery.
