A day after the missing bodies of Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies were located, new pieces of information about the case were revealed.

7News reported that Baird's housemates slept at his Paddington home, where he and his boyfriend were allegedly murdered, unaware that the deceased couple's bodies were still there.

On the morning of Feb. 19, gunshots were reportedly heard by neighbors at the TV presenter's home. After that, Baird's housemates reportedly received messages from his phone saying he was leaving for Perth. It was alleged that Baird's police officer ex, Beaumont Lamarre-Condon, had sent the texts to keep Baird's housemates from suspecting why he and his boyfriend were missing.

When Baird's housemates returned home and found the premises in a disheveled state that night, they went to bed like usual, still unaware of what happened to the couple.

They also allegedly saw a red substance they assumed was beetroot juice next to a tarp outside Baird's home.

Meanwhile, the police alleged that Lamarre-Condon premeditated the double murder of his ex and Davies. He allegedly showed dangerous and obsessive behavior for weeks, leading to the double murder.

Additionally, the police discovered that he purchased surfboard bags on Feb. 17, two days before Baird and Davies were killed.

The new updates come after New South Wales (NSW) Police Commissioner Karen Webb and Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty announced in a press conference that the missing couple's bodies were discovered on a property in Bungonia -- inside two surf bags covered in rock and debris.

The police were able to locate the bodies after the alleged suspect, Lamarre-Condon, finally cooperated with the investigation and disclosed where he transported the bodies.

It was believed that the suspect transported Baird and Davies' bodies wrapped inside surfboard bags in a white van.
