Kevin Federline is a married man. The former backup dancer (and ex-husband of Britney Spears) and longtime girlfriend Victoria Prince wed Saturday night in Las Vegas.

The vows took place in the penthouse of the Hard Rock Hotel around 8 p.m. on Aug. 10, a source confirmed to PEOPLE.

The wedding took place just one day after the couple were granted a marriage license Friday night in Las Vegas.

Federline, 35, and Prince, 30, have dated since 2008 and have one child together, Jordan Kay, who turns 2 next week.

In 2010, Federline hinted that he wanted to wed Prince during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.

"Would I get married again? Definitely," Federline said. "I just want to be happy. Right now, I really am happy. Victoria's a great person. She's an incredible person."

Asked if his divorce from Spears had made him wary of marriage, he said, "No."

Earlier this week, Federline debuted his slim look as the couple stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The former backup dancer, has become something of a yo-yo dieter, making his debut in 2009 when he starred in the seventh season of Celebrity Fit Club. And in 2011 he appeared on Australian weight loss show Excess Baggage.
