South Korean rapper Owen shaded LE SSERAFIM on Instagram.

On Tuesday, Owen posted a short video of his freestyle rap on the social media platform. In the video, he was grooving to the beat, holding what appeared to be an airsoft rifle while rapping.

In his rap he called "LE SSERAFIM's 'Easy' remix," he shaded the group with the line, "LE SSERAFIM, easy easy / It's no secret that they can't sing live," per AllKPop's English translation.

"I am the Korean 'Easy.' / Don't start trouble or I'm going to shoot you all. / Bang, bang, bang," he continued while pointing the rifle at the camera.

After receiving backlash from FEARNOT, LE SSERAFIM's fandom, Owen disabled the comments section of his post.

He also edited his post's caption, writing, "@le_sserafim. MC Big. MC Bigcap is purely for fun, puns [are] intended for creative purpose[s] only. I appreciate you all regardless."

On X, formerly Twitter, global fanbases encouraged their members to email Source Music Protect, LE SSERAFIM's label, to take legal action against the K-rapper.

"FEARNOT informs you about the K-rapper Owen who has been making despective comments and mockings towards LE SSERAFIM. He [uploaded] an Instagram reel mocking their vocals in [their] newest comeback, 'Easy,'" read the email template.

"We ask you to take legal action against this person as soon as possible to protect LE SSERAFIM."

"Easy" is one of the five tracks on the third EP of the same name by LE SSERAFIM, released by Source Music on Feb. 19.

LE SSERAFIM is one of the most successful female K-Pop groups of the fourth generation with hits like "Antifragile," "Fearless," "Perfect Night," "Unforgiven" feat. Nile Rodgers, "Sour Grapes," "Blue Flame" and "Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's Wife," among many others.

LE SSERAFIM consists of five members: Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha and Hong Eun-chae. The K-Pop act originally debuted with six members in 2022, but Kim Garam left the group due to bullying allegations.
