One Direction is a heavy favorite among American boy band lovers and their popularity was shown at the Teen Choice Awards.

Following their opening performance of Best Song Ever, the English-Irish singers received three separate awards for their talents.

Up for Choice Love Song, One Direction's Little Things beat out Just Give Me A Reason by P!nk and featuring Nate Ruess, Mirrors by the ever popular Justin Timberlake, Treasure by Bruno Mars and The Way Ariana Grande featuring Mac Miller.

In the category of Choice Single by a Group, One Direction picked up yet another surfboard for their work on Live While We're Young. Released last September, the single climbed charts around the world, landing at No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and on the UK Singles chart.

Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry, and Louis also received an award for their recent summer tour. While on the Take Me Home tour, the young singers clearly captured the hearts of fans with their live performance. With so many already in love with their hit songs, it is no surprise teens were excited to see their idols in concert.

The talented singers currently have tow full-length albums out, 2011's Up all Night and 2012's Take Me Home.
