Two more seasons of "The Witcher" are coming.

Netflix announced on Thursday through a table read clip and a press release that they are "heading back to The Continent" and that a new season of the fantasy drama TV series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich for the streamer has officially begun production in the United Kingdom.

"It is with huge pride that we begin shooting our penultimate season of 'The Witcher' with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia," Hissrich said.

Per the logline revealed by Netflix, S4 will pick up from the "shocking, Continent-altering events that closed out S3." It will show Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri "who are faced with traversing the war-ravaged Continent and its many demons apart from each other."

"If they can embrace and lead the groups of misfits they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire and finding one another again."

Old and new cast members joining them are Joey Batey, Laurence Fishburne, Eamon Farren, Anna Shaffer, Mimî M Khayisa, Cassie Clare, Mahesh Jadu, Meng'er Zhang, Graham McTavish, Royce Pierreson, Mecia Simson and Sharlto Copley, among many others.

"The Witcher" has also been renewed for a fifth and final season. Per Variety, seasons 4 and 5 will be filmed back to back.

The final seasons of the TV series will cover Andrzej Sapkowski's three remaining "Witcher" novels -- "Baptism of Fire," "The Tower of the Swallow" and "Lady of the Lake."

"We're thrilled to be able to bring Andrzej Sapkowski's books to an epic and satisfying conclusion. It wouldn't be our show if we didn't push our family of characters to their absolute limit. Stay tuned to see how the story ends," said Hissrich.
