Baldwin confronted by angry bystander.

Alec Baldwin has been in hot water following the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins while shooting his new movie 'Rust.'

On Monday, the 'Rust' actor, who was recently accused of having "no control over his emotions," reportedly smacked the cellphone of a heckler who confronted him about Hutchins, who was shot on set in October 2021.

In a recently viral video on social media, Baldwin is seen at Maman café in New York City being confronted by an angry bystander who demanded that he say "Free Palestine."

The heckler also questioned why the actor, 66, "killed that lady," and didn't get jail time. The heckler in question is the host of 'Crackhead Barney Experience," according to US Weekly.

"Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and got no jail time? No jail time, Alec? No jail time, Alec. You're putting innocent people in jail, Alec Baldwin. 'Free Palestine,' Alec, just one time, and I'll leave you alone," she continued.

The actor walked towards the door and motioned that she should leave, as the café staff had asked her to leave, which she refused.

Just as the heckler begins to call Baldwin a "criminal," Baldwin is seen asking someone off camera, "Can you do me a quick favor," before slapping the phone the heckler was using to record him.

The heckler wrote a short caption: "White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me while I was trying to get coffee."

Twitter, now known as X, added a reader's context blurb to the clip: "The person filming this video was not 'trying to get coffee.' They repeatedly and viciously harassed Alec Baldwin and refused to leave the establishment when asked to by the staff. There is also no evidence they were attacked."

Court documents allege that Baldwin's alleged aggressive behavior may have contributed to "safety compromises" related to the fatal shooting of the 'Rust' movie's cinematographer.

Per ABC News, the actor is awaiting trial for involuntary manslaughter related to the case.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the 'Rust' armorer who loaded the live round into the gun Baldwin was holding when it discharged and killed the film's cinematographer, was sentenced to18 months in prison for involuntary manslaughter.
