Joe Biden spoke about receiving photos from "lovely" women after he lost his first wife and daughter in his recent interview with Howard Stern.

The U.S. President appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" on Friday. During the chat, Stern asked a series of questions related to the heartbreaking car accident that took Biden's first wife, Neilia, and 1-year-old daughter, Naomi. The conversation turned to his romantic life after that when women noticed that he was single, the Daily Mail reported.

"I got put in that ten most eligible bachelors list," Biden shared. "And a lot of lovely women ... would send very salacious pictures, and I just give them to the Secret Service."

The outlet noted that Biden did not clarify why the Secret Service, who handles the presidential security, would be involved in those cases. The incident reportedly happened in the 1970s when he was still a senator. Biden served as U.S. Senator from Delaware from 1973 to 2009. A clip from the interview was shared on X, formerly Twitter, and it received several responses from netizens who seemingly questioned the POTUS' story.

"All I can say is 'show proof.' He is a lying liar. People didn't send d**k and cootchy pics in the 1970s," one commented.

Another added, "More lies. Our national liar and chief."

"Habitual liar. He just can't tell the truth," a third person claimed.

"That was [before] cell phones, how did they send them, carrier pigeon?" another asked.

"I'll just bet he gave these probably mythical pictures to his mythical Secret Service. Why doesn't the so-called fair media just once call him out on his lies? They sure weren't shy when it was Trump, and he told mostly the truth compared to Pinocchio cubed. He has never been good-looking, btw," another commenter said.

Meanwhile, some defended the POTUS from those who questioned his statement. They believed it wasn't unlikely since Biden was "hot" when he was younger.

"[T]o be fair, young Joe Biden was unfortunately very hot," one opined.

"He's not lying," another said while sharing two photos of a younger Biden, looking dashing.

"He was kind of cute," another wrote along with a black and white photo of a younger Biden.

"Is it really that surprising that women would send pics to what was a younger, more single, and what most folks would say, is a conventionally attractive young Senator?" one asked.

Several also defended Biden from those doubting his mention of the Secret Service. According to them, he didn't mention he had Secret Service protection at the time. Instead, he said he forwarded the photos to the federal agency.

"He didn't say he had Secret Service protection. He said he gave salacious pictures from women to the Secret Service," one said.

Another added, "Where in that sentence does it state he had Secret Service protection?"

The United States Secret Service is one of the country's oldest federal investigative law enforcement agencies that protect the president, the vice president and their immediate families. They also protect former presidents and their spouses (unless the latter remarries) and their children until age 16.

The service is extended to major presidential and vice presidential candidates, who are determined by an advisory committee, visiting heads of foreign states and national special security events. It does not cover protection for senators.
