Jaden Smith debunked the rumors that he severed romantic ties with Kylie Jenner after she was spotted out with Lil' Twist. The After Earth actor was seen with the Kardashians and Jenners at Kylie's Sweet 16 birthday party on Aug. 10.

MailOnline published photos of the Karate Kid Star sitting next to Jenner's older sister Kendall Jenner at Kylie's intimate birthday bash. He was smiling and chatting with the reality stars as they celebrated her birthday at Nobu in Malibu, Calif.

Smith was clad in a black Army cap with sleeveless t-shirt, which complimented Kylie's black leather jacket, black mini-dress and tall, black open-weave boots, which she reportedly borrowed from her mother.

Smith's appearance debunks the claims made in Star magazine last week that Jaden's father, Will Smith, strongly disapproves of Jenner's reality-TV family. According to CelebDirtyLaundry, an insider told Star that Will is also concerned that his son's relationship with a reality star might affect his blossoming movie career. The source said if Will and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith could have their way, their son would "distance himself" from Kylie. The A-list couple reportedly do not approve of her friendship with Justin Beiber's troubled pal Lil' Twist. Kylie was snapped by paparazzi heading into a movie theater with the rapper in Calabasas, Calif. on July 23.

Enstars reported that Kylie later told the hosts of New York's 95.5 PLJ Radio show Scott and Todd  on Aug. 5, there is "no beef whatsoever" with Jaden's parents.

"Honestly I am great friends with the family. I come over all the time," Kylie said. "Jaden has been one of my best friends forever, so I'm around him a lot and there's no beef whatsoever. I respect Jada, Will, they're the nicest people. There's been a lot about [the Jaden Smith rumors], none of the rumors are true. [Will and Jada] are great. I love them."

Kylie and Jaden's dating rumors began when eyewitnesses told MailOnline they saw them together March 1. The teens were last seen together at another Karadashian-Jenner family outing--at her father Bruce Jenner's house in Malibu, during the Fourth of July weekend.
