The new celebrity cast of Dancing With the Stars will be released on Sept. 4, but rumors have continued to swirl about who will be competing in season 17.

Megan Griffo, an editor from The Huffington Post, tweeted an interesting clue regarding a possible contestant. On Sunday, the editor tweeted, "Yogurt spokesperson is the new 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant."

This tweet caused several writers to speculate whether she was referring to either John Stamos or Jamie Lee Curtis, who are two of the most famous yogurt spokespeople. Griffo, however, tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that she had no inside information regarding Dancing With the Stars season 17. So the original tweet may have just been a joke.

Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller told Access Hollywood on Monday that she would love to be on Dancing With the Stars. She also explained why she hasn't been on it in the past.

"Some of the Dancing With the Stars dancers talked a little smack about Dance Moms," she said.

Miller was likely referring to popular pro dancers Derek Hough and Mark Ballas, who tweeted the following statements in July 2012:

"I'm sorry but this Dance mom show is straight up abusive," Hough tweeted. "Kids Run !!!!!! It ain't right. Child abuse isn't right. I'm livid right now... [There's] nothing productive about screaming and making little girls cry over being on the wrong foot."

Ballas tweeted, "Dance is meant to be fun and inspirational, not abusive. Kids are impressionable and I don't want young children being afraid to take up dance because of this lady."
