Martha Stewart will debut a new TV cooking show on PBS called "Martha Stewart's Cooking School."

The weekly cooking show will feature 30-minute episodes where Martha will demonstrate classic cooking techniques and basics as well as imparting tips and tricks, her company Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia announced Thursday.

The show will be broadcast weekly and will debut in the fall.

"PBS is the perfect home for this series. We'll show viewers how to prepare classic dishes as well as how to use proper techniques. This new series combines so many of my passions: teaching and encouraging others," said Ms. Stewart.

"We will break down classic recipes for home cooks and inspire them to add their unique twist. I'm excited to get into the kitchen and connect with audiences across the nation."

TV experts think PBS will be a better fit for Stewart's cooking show after it failed to gain success on the Hallmark cable network where it broadcast since 2010.

Stewart who has won 18 Emmy Awards throughout her career, will release a new book this month titled "MARTHA's AMERICAN FOOD: A celebration of Our Nation's Most Treasured Dishes, from Coast to Coast."
