John Turturro's second foray into filmmaking, Fading Gigolo, will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, and the trailer is out, featuring the hilariously absurd duo of pimp (Woody Allen) and gigolo (Turturro.)

In the film, Woody Allen plays the pimp (a.k.a Dan Bungo) and his commodity is none other than a nervous, middle-aged man portrayed by Turturro. The plot revolves around a cash-strapped Fioravante (Turturro), who agrees to purvey sexual services at the request of his friend, Murry (Allen), a bookseller. Allen finds Turturro two clients, played by Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara, who are interested in a ménage à trois.

The film, which is written and directed by Turturro, also stars Liev Schreiber, Bob Balaban, and Vanessa Paradis.

After 2007's Romance and Cigarettes (James Gandolfini, Susan Sarandon), this will be Turturro's second time directing a film. In May this year, Turturro was also cast, with Philip Seymour Hoffman, in John Slattery's (Mad Men) directing debut, God's Pocket, which will release in 2014.

Allen recently directed the Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin starrer Blue Jasmine. The last time we saw him on the big screen was in his 2012 release, To Rome with Love. In the past, Allen has played main roles in very few films, like the Front and Scenes from A Mall, which weren't written or directed by him.
