Miley Cyrus uploaded onto Twitter on Wednesday a series of photos taken behind the scenes of her Harper's Bazaar spread, photographed by Terry Richardson.
The 20-year-old singer traded in couture fashions from Chanel, Dior and Armani Prive for a casual shoot in which she wore black shorts and a Nike cropped top for some images, and high-waisted blue jeans and a tied white tank top for others. Two images also have the We Can't Stop singer wearing an over-sized gray sweater that read "Rap Music."
Cyrus sported red lipstick in all the pictures and while for most of them she posed alone, for two photos she stands next to the photographer himself. Cyrus then makes fun of Richardson in a playful manner by posing with his oversized glasses. Other photos from the shoot have Cyrus giving the middle fingers to the camera, doing a downward-facing yoga position and blowing puffs of smoke with a cigarette in her hand.
Cyrus uploaded a number of the photos she took with Richardson onto Twitter but majority of the talk on her account recently has been about the VMAs, which airs live on Aug. 25 from Barclay's Stadium in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is up for a number of awards, including Best Song of The Summer for We Can't Stop, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Best Editing. Not only will this be her first ever performance at the VMAs, but Cyrus is also the most nominated female at VMAs this year.
