Simon Cowell, Lauren Silverman Divorce Settlement After Pregnancy Reveal Rumors VIDEO
Simon Cowell's baby mama Lauren Silverman has reached a divorce settlement with husband Andrew Silverman.
Only a few short weeks after it was revealed that Lauren was carrying the X Factor judges' child, the New York based couple has officially called it quits.
"The matter has been resolved and the parties have moved on," wrote Lauren's attorneys, Robert Cohen and Bernard Clair, according to omg!.
The British judge and the socialite have known each other for many years, slowly growing closer as Cowell often vacationed with the couple.
The Silverman's have a 7-year-old son, the reason the pair wished to settle the divorce quickly.
"As I've said all along, my priority was resolving this quickly for the sake of our son," Andrew said, according to the New York Daily News. "Lauren and I both love him very much and I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter in our lives."
The slighted spouse reportedly referenced his wife's "cruel and inhuman treatment" as a reason for the divorce, according to divorce papers cited by the New York Daily News.
The Silverman's have agreed to joint custody of their child while Silverman, who received $2 million in the divorce, will remain in New York City so she can remain near her son, according to TMZ.
