Blake Shelton is so sweet, he's made of sugar. Literally.

The country singer was recently memorialized in a piece of artwork that draws inspiration from his lyrics.

In his recent hit, Boys Round Here, The Voice coach and reigning champion references the southern confectionery purveyor Dixie Crystals.

"Yeah, the girls 'round here, they all deserve a whistle/Shakin' that sugar, sweet as Dixie crystal," Shelton sings on his latest album, Based on a True Story.

Houston based artist Reginald Adams was selected by the Imperial Sugar Company to homage to both the musician and the popular coffee condiment, according to The Huston Chronicle. The result is a unique work of art made entirely from - you guessed it - Dixie Crystal products.

Like sand art, only sweeter, the artwork combines several different types of sugar in order to create a portrait of the artist as a young man. Over a 30-hour period, Adams labored to sprinkle just the right portions of granulated, powdered, light brown, dark brown and turbinado granules to color Shelton's hair and face, reports The Huston Chronicle. As for the background as boarder of the image, Adams re-purposed the packaging of his unusual art supplies.

Shelton is currently on tour and will resume his duties as a coach on The Voice when it returns for its fifth season.
