Apple enthusiasts are gearing up for the upcoming release of the new iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C.

Rumors have been circulating for several months regarding the Cupertino-based company's latest devices. While many believed Apple would unveil a series of new mobile systems back in June, there was low level of disappointment when no iPhone announcement came from the World Wide Developers Conference.

However, starting in July the rumor factory was once more supplied with a possible debut date. Predictions from Peter Misek and KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that the new phones would be going into production last month and be ready to hit stores come the Fall.

Now some sites believe they have the hard and fast date for the release of the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C (also referred to as the iPhone 6). According to All Things D, Apple will premiere the phones at an event on Sept. 10.

While the iPhone 5S is really just a slightly updated version of the regular iPhone 5, the low-cost iPhone 5C looks to bring Apple into the mid-range phone market. Made of plastic, the 5C looks to be slightly bulkier than it's companion, according to photos from Mac Rumors. However, photos also reveal that the 5C will have the same logic board as the 5S.

The 5S will boast an updated 12-megapixel camera and a fingerprint sensor. Both devices are expected to use the new iOS 7.
