Tamar Braxton is embracing motherhood, admitting that she is receiving parenting advice from her family members.

In a recent interview with EurWeb, the 'Tamar & Vince' star  gushed about her new baby boy Logan Vincent Herbert, calling him "amazing" and a "gift from God."

"Motherhood is great...I'm loving every moment of it...My mother gives a lot of advice. Toni gives a lot of advice, and I'm making sure I raise my baby to the best of "their" ability (laughs)," Tamar said.

When asked if she's been listening to all of the advice she's been getting, the outspoken reality star did not hesitate to reply.

"Absolutely not! It is definitely causing some sort of a ruckus around here," she said.

Tamar, 36, is unsure if she wants to extend her family.

"My baby is only 5 weeks today," she said at the time of the interview. "And we're really enjoying him. You'll just have to stay tuned I guess, just like I do. I have no idea."

The Love & War singer just finished up a FOX summer series talk show, The Real, co-hosted by Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.

Tamar credits her personality for allowing her to get the gig.

"Well you know, I think with the success of 'Braxton Family Values' and 'Tamar & Vince,' watching my personality on television (laughs) it's like oh my god, this is the girl we've been looking for; (a girl) who has opinions and wants to give her opinions, and doesn't make any apologies for it," she said.
