With the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards only a few days away, Taylor Swift took a dig at Kanye West, who famously interrupted her VMAs acceptance speech in 2009.

On Monday night, Ed Sheeran posted a photo of a jar of jam on Twitter, along with the caption, "Taylor made me some jam. Amazing."

The label on the jar included a not-so-subtle reference to West.

Swift's note reads, "Yo Ed, I’m really happy 4 you and I'm gonna let you finish but this is the best JAM OF ALL TIME – T."

The I Knew You Were Trouble singer was referencing the incident where West interrupted Taylor as she was accepting her award for Best Female Video.

Yeezy had stormed the stage during T-Swizzle’s crowning moment to declare that Beyonce's Single Ladies video was in fact the best video of all time – which resulted in a visibly heartbroken Taylor.

The singer and West are both expected at the VMAs on Sunday, August 25 in Brooklyn.

Taylor is nominated for two awards at this year's VMAs – Video of the Year and Best Female Video.

"Anxiously counting down to VMA's…" tweeted Taylor earlier this month. "Feel like voting? Cause I certainly feel like shamelessly asking you to."
