Five months after Kobe Bryant injured his Achilles tendon, the Los Angeles Laker posted a video on Instagram of him running on a treadmill.

The five-time NBA champion, who has only played with the Lakers throughout his entire career uploaded the video to the social media site of him running on an anti-gravity treadmill, a device that allows him to exercise without having to support all of his body weight, Huffington Post reported.

#mambamental#vinoclock," he captioned along with the short clip.

The video was liked by over 157,000 users, prompting fans to believe that he will back by the time of the 2014 season opener.

"Wait you you will come back quickly," one fan wrote.

"I come from china ,i wish u will very very good in next season," another wrote.

Earlier this month, Bryant told reporters that he has "shattered" the routine recovery timetable for the injury.

"Because of that the recovery has been different, the timetable has been different, the normal timetable for recovering from an Achilles, we've shattered that. Three-and-a-half months, I can already walk just fine, I am lifting weight just fine. So we don't know what that timetable is going to be, this is new territory for us all," he said via Sporting News.

In an interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, Bryant said that he wasn't sure if he'll be fully healed in time for the Lakers Oct. 29 season opener, but promised that he career isn't over just yet.

"I just want that jewelry," he said, referring to winning his sixth NBA championship."People just don't understand how obsessed I am with winning."
