According to the NY Post, Justin Timberlake and his former NSYNC band members are set to reunite for a special performance on the 2013 MTV VMAs Sunday night at the Barclays Center.

J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are scheduled to join Timberlake onstage for a reunion performance. Should the gathering happen, it'll be one of the pop group's first performances as a unit since they disbanded in 2002.

The *NSYNC crew were spotted in the VIP section for Timberlake's show with Jay Z last Friday in Miami.

The paper claims all five stars will come together to celebrate Timberlake collecting the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

JT is nominated for six awards this year (tied with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for the most of any artist) and is up for Video of the Year for his clip for Mirrors.

Up next, Timberlake will be embarking on a solo tour to promote his follow-up to The 20/20 Experience, which drops Sept. 30.
